Pievalta has received, for the 15th consecutive year, the Slow Wine Snail, a symbol that identifies the values of the Slow Food philosophy. The 2022 San Paolo has been confirmed as a Top Wine-Slow Wine.
The guide writes about our winery: “Pievalta’s maturity goes hand in hand with that of its soul; Alessandro Fenino, who has listened to the land and the plants, gradually increasing his skills.”
And about our vineyards: “The project began in 2002 as an organic wine and evolved to biodynamic in 2005 at the behest of Alessandro, who sought to give the winery a tailored approach with these practices. Chiesa del Pozzo, a 1965 parcel, is the oldest in the vineyard and the mother of the more recent plantings and replacements. “We will keep it forever because it is our plant heritage” – Alessandro Fenino.
We are grateful to the Slow Wine team for these recognitions of our work!
